MEYOK's fields of work:
- To provide opinions to the Senate regarding the establishment of new vocational schools and their affiliated departments and programs within the university,
- To ensure coordination between units for a more effective evaluation of the existing human resources in vocational schools,
- To plan the academic and administrative personnel needs and demands of vocational schools in a holistic manner for all units and to provide opinions to the Rector on this matter,
- To ensure the fulfillment of the duties specified in the Regulation on the Principles and Procedures Regarding the Education, Practice, and Internships of Vocational School Students within METEB,
- To organize activities that promote and educate about vocational education and to ensure efforts to enhance the qualifications of students,
- To ensure the planning of in-service training and education of academic and administrative staff and the organization of efforts to improve the quality of the provided education,
- To ensure the preparation of draft education-teaching plans in line with the needs of the sectors and to emphasize practical applications in education-teaching plans,
- To make arrangements that increase the potential for resource creation and productivity in education, to carry out and support necessary planning and implementation studies to meet the needs for personnel, library, laboratory, tools, and equipment,
- To ensure coordination in teaching programs and practices.
